SEARCY’S FIRST EVER NEW YEAR’S BALL DROP EVENT SEARCY, AR (Dec., 2017) -

Get ready for the last Searcy Beats & Eats event of the year! The monthly music and artisan festival is concluding it’s 2017 calendar of events with a BANG including a ball drop, pyrotechnic fireworks, confetti explosions, live music and art performances, food trucks and other activities for the whole family.

The Beats & Eats New Year’s Eve event will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. and concluding at 12:30 a.m. Located at the Main Street Parking Lot in downtown Searcy, activities will be ongoing both inside the Robbins Sanford Grand Hall event center and the outside landing.

Live music will be performed by four bands traveling from distances as far as Nashville, TN and Georgia; Cheyenne Medders, Fable and Fury, Sawyer’s Mill, and Chris Baker create the exciting lineup to be performed on a concert stage located outside along Main Street. If attendees get a little chilly, the venue will also have entertainment inside Robbins Sanford Event Center with more live music, theatrical bits, and a live painting exhibition featuring several local artists. Downtown Searcy’s newest business, Savor & Sip, will be catering food and drinks in the event center.

On the top level of Robbins Sanford, an exclusive VIP event featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres by Savory Catering, live music, and an art auction conducted by the Searcy Arts Council. Tickets for the VIP event are $75 and are limited to 100 tickets.

General admission to the New Year’s Eve Beats & Eats is FREE, however, there are limited premium tickets available for reserved concert seats at the music main stage outside. $20 Center Stage tickets and $10 Side Stage tickets include a reserved seat, a glow necklace, and a 2018 hat and glasses. You can purchase all ticket options at No ticket is necessary for general admission. At the stroke of midnight, attendees will experience a ball drop and pyrotechnic show presented by Clairday Electric. Beats & Eats events will return in April of 2018. The Beats & Eats Committee serves under the umbrella of the Searcy Arts Council, this event is run by volunteers with a percentage of the funds received from vendor registration going to the Searcy Arts Council a 501(c)3 Non-Profit and the rest of the monies paying the expenses of putting on the monthly event.
